2023: agile with a solid basis

What we as UMC Utrecht stand for and aim for, and our strategy to achieve this, has remained unchanged in recent years. The world around us however is changing fast and continuously. In 2023 we started a movement to ensure that we stay on track regardless of the task we are dealing with: towards the healthcare of tomorrow.

Highlights within our core tasks

Healthcare, research, education, and valorization are our four core tasks. In collaboration with our partners we achieved great results in 2023: from unique research to impactful innovations and applications in our healthcare and education. We would like to highlight a few examples.

Digital care

If care can be provided at home, that is what we do. It gives patients more control over the healthcare that they receive, and makes healthcare professionals even better able to deliver care that meets the patient’s needs.

Unique research

With our unique research together with partners, we strive to make the highest possible impact for patients and for society. Our point of departure is of course the patients’ demands.
