Our impact for our students

Our aim is to prepare our students well for the healthcare and society of the future. This takes shape under the name The New Utrecht School. The New Utrecht school stands for: inter-professional learning and multidisciplinary education in a diverse and inclusive environment.

The New Utrecht School stands for cooperation between disciplines in the training of (future) healthcare and health professionals.

Diversity and inclusiveness

We want to offer a diverse and inclusive learning environment in which students feel that they can be themselves and where they belong.

Collaborating with patients in education

In our education, we use the unique experience expertise of patients. An active and involved patient community has already come into being.

For 87% of our courses, 80% or more of the students indicate that they are ‘satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’.

Developments in education

To keep pace with developments in society, we have for instance started with preparations to revise our program curricula.

Student wellbeing

In 2022, due to the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic among other things, we also paid extra attention to improving students’ wellbeing

‘Top Program’ label

Our bachelor program in Medicine again received the excellence label ‘Topopleiding’ in 2022.
